This steak marinade is mouthwatering!
One of my go to recipes for whenever I’m making a nice cut of steak.
I love eating my steak with rice and broccoli.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup soy sauce 1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
3 tablespoons dried basil
1 1/2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 beef steaks -any cut
Directions for the marinade:
1. Add the soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, basil, parsley, and black pepper in a blender.
2. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until thoroughly mixed.
3. Pour marinade over Steaks. Cover, and refrigerate for up to 8 hours.
Ingredients for the Butter Sauce:
2 tbsp. of olive oil
3 tbsp. of butter
1 clove crushed garlic
3 fresh thyme
Directions:
1. Heat a large skillet on medium heat and add 2 tbsp. of olive oil.
2. Place both steaks in skillet for 5 mins on each side. Try to stand each steak up so that it can be browned all over.
3. Add the fresh thyme to the pan for flavor.
4. Break apart the 3 tbsp. of butter in the pan. Use a spoon to scoop the butter up and pour over the steak as it is cooking. 5 min.
5. Add the garlic whole to the butter sauce and allow the sauce to cook it a long with the steak. 5 min.
6. Let the steak rest for 5 min before slicing.
